If there is one thing you need to know about me, it is that I am a breakfast lover! I can skip lunch, I don’t mind dinner, but breakfast … I love breakfast! Dubai has no shortage of great breakfast options, from decadent hotel brunches to cozy cafes. My preference is definitely for the latter, so this is what you will find in this post. I have gathered below some of the best breakfasts in Dubai, a list that I will update regularly, as I discover new places. Since I live in Jumeirah and love exploring my neighborhood, this is where most of these delicious cafes will be located. Enjoy your breakfast in Dubai!

BEST BREAKFASTS IN DUBAI
BRIX CAFE
Located in the scenic Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, Brix Cafe is a homegrown gem from the team behind 3Fils. It blends a relaxed, waterfront vibe with delicious pastries and breakfast classics. My favorite is the Turkish Eggs and the classic Eggs & Avo. They also serve one of the best croissants in Dubai, trust the French on this! I love this place, and for me it is one of the best breakfasts in Dubai, but they also serve lunches, sandwiches, etc.
Location: Jumeirah Fishing Harbour, Jumeirah 1
Timing: All-day breakfast from 7:00 am to 11:30 pm
ORTO
With a minimalist aesthetic and serene setting along the Dubai Canal, Orto is the perfect cafe for a relaxed breakfast. The interior decoration is gorgeous, with lime-washed walls, olive trees, and cozy sofas, but my favorite is the large terrace overlooking the canal. Foodwise, my favorite is the Green toast a delicious mix of eggs, pesto, avocado, and labneh. Their matcha is one of my favorites in Dubai, but ultimately, Orto is a specialty coffee shop, so if you love coffee, this place is for you! Located close to the end of the Jumeirah Beach running track and at the beginning of the canal, expect to find lots of runners and bikers here on the weekend! I really love the vibe, and it is one of my favorite places to grab breakfast in Dubai.

21 GRAMS
21grams is Dubai’s premier “urban Balkan bistro, serving delicious dishes inspired by Eastern Europe, Greece, and Turkiye. You can visit 21 Grams for lunch & dinner, but I always go for breakfast. I absolutely love the Balkan Breakfast, a generous serving a scrambled eggs with tomato and pepper, a sausage, some cheese, and the most delicious bread! Definitely not light, but oh so yummy!! Located in Jumeirah, 21 Grams has a chic, minimalist aesthetic, beautiful city views, and a sun-drenched terrace. If you are still hesitant, just know that 21 Grams also received a Michelin Bib Gourmand.

SOCIETY
A Jumeirah staple that I love for its minimalist design and delicious Mediterranean-European menu. Inside, the decoration is all about bright white walls, pretty wooden furniture, lots of greenery, and plenty of sunlight flowing from its glass roof. From the menu, I love the Croissant Egg Benedicts and the Avocado Toast, served on brown rye bread, with cream cheese, peas, nuts, and edamame. Society Cafe truly deserves a top place in the list of the best breakfasts in Dubai.

THE SUM OF US
If you are a lover of good bread, pastries and home-made coffee, this place is for you. With its modern industrial decor and a small outdoor seating area, it is the perfect place for a Saturday morning breakfast in Dubai. From 8 am to 12 pm, you can pick anything from the breakfast menu, and starting at 12pm, you can also pick from the lunch options
Among my favorites on the menu is the Almond Croissant!

Timing: 8 am to 8 pm
TOM & SERG
A long-timer and pioneer of Dubai’s specialty coffee movement, Tom & Serg brings Melbourne’s vibrant café culture to an industrial warehouse in Al Quoz. I love the scrambled eggs, and the sourdough is also delicious! And being Australian, of course, they take their coffee very seriously. A bit of a hipster staple, but definitely one of the best breakfasts in Dubai.
Location: Al Joud Centre, Al Quoz
Timing: All-day breakfast from 8 am to 5 pm on Weekdays / 8 am to 6 pm on Weekends
COMPTOIR 102
Comptoir 102 is Jumeirah’s ultimate boho-chic sanctuary, where wellness meets high design. The concept shop curates an elevated selection of fashion, jewelry, and decoration, while the cafe offers sustainable and nutritious food. Among my favorites are the buckwheat pancakes and honey oatmeal pudding. They also have delicious smoothies and organic tea that you can savour on their lovely sun-drenched bohemian terrace. Definitely one of the best breakfasts in Dubai!

Timing: All day breakfast from 8 am until 8 pm
THE HAMPTONS CAFE
As its name suggests, the Hamptons Cafe is inspired by the chic American seaside. The atmosphere is chic and tranquil, with comfy armchairs, black and white pictures on the wall, and lots of light coming from the high windows. On the menu are all the staples of a perfect breakfast, such as avocado toast, croissants, eggs Benedict, acai bowls, waffles, etc. Hamptons Cafe also serves some regional flavors such as Shakshouka eggs, Middle Eastern foul, and the Hamptons Oriental Breakfast. The Hamptons is one of the historical cafes in Dubai and remains today one of the best breakfasts in the city.
